For the Sculpture Gallery project, CJ.STUDIO worked on rebranding to strengthen the gallery's identity while preserving its sculptural essence. The objective was to position the gallery as the home of sculpture in the North of England, and we achieved this by strengthening the gallery’s identity through design elements that reflected its core values. We created a logo, typography, and geometry that aligned with this vision.
To support the new identity, we designed exhibition catalogues, brochures, and promotional materials to ensure a cohesive visual experience. We also strategised new revenue opportunities, including the sale of prints of sculptures, to complement the gallery’s mission. Additionally, we enhanced the gallery's media identity to bring its essence from offline to online, allowing people to experience the gallery’s unique feel digitally.
Through these deliverables, we successfully positioned the gallery as a leading cultural space and achieved the goal of establishing it as the home of sculpture in the North of England. The project was positively received by the team and visitors, demonstrating the impact of thoughtful design in enhancing the gallery’s identity.
